Man arrested in ‘self-immolation’ video, arrested in attempted self-immolating

A man is in custody in Florida for allegedly attempting to self-imolate while in a police car in a video that went viral.

The arrest comes on the heels of the release of a second video that showed a man being led away by police after he attempted to commit suicide.

The Miami Herald reports that police say they were called to a call of a suicidal man at a residence in West Palm Beach, Florida, at 11:51 a.m.

The victim told police he was standing outside a residence when a man approached him.

The victim said he pulled out a knife and started threatening the man, but the man said he was not suicidal and was just trying to help.

The man said that he took the knife away from the victim, walked away and called 911.

The police department said they found a knife at the scene and that a knife was recovered.

The suspect was arrested for the attempted self mutilation, resisting arrest and battery.
